Reading can sometimes be an expensive. If you don't have a bottomless wallet here are some ways to get books at low and minimal costs. Here's my top three things for getting books at minimal costs.
1.Kindle App

The Kindle app is a great place to get books for free or at very low costs. You can create an Amazon account for free. Kindle books are significantly cheaper than a regular book primarily because you're not paying the price for printing the book. You can find great books for as low as 0.99 and free. If you're an Amazon Prime member you can read some books for free. If you want a wider variety you can also get Kindle Unlimited for $9.99 a month which is amazing value. The average price of a paperback book is $13.95. Also, with these subscriptions you get access to thousands and more books.
2.Library

A completely free option is going to your local library. Library cards at public libraries are completely free. This is a great option if you have a library around you that's convenient. Also, lots of libraries provide access to Libby a virtual library that gives access to audio and ebooks.
3. Used Books

Another way to save money is buying your books used. You can do this this on the Amazon site, going to thrift stores and other second hand sites.
